Idaho Falls Shopping Report

This past weekend we went to Idaho Falls to see my husbands family. While we were there I was able to shop at both Albertson's and Walgreens.
I have to say that the people of Idaho Falls are very lucky.
Both stores were well stocked and the cashiers were super friendly.

I went into Walgreens to buy some of the Ecotrin they have for free this week and could not believe how much they had in stock. (Literally there was stacks of it). I bought three and didn't feel guilty at all because they had so much.
I did three transactions and paid $.36 out of pocket and got back $6.00 in Register Rewards.
Here's the deal:
Buy 1 Ecotrin $2.00
use $2.00/1 any Ecotrin
final: free (plus tax)
Get back $2.00 Register Reward!

And at Albertson's (I don't have a picture of what we bought), I was able to get bagels and rolls for free using in store coupons that they had. I also found a coupon for free Snapple 6 packs after rebate. There were coupons all over the store. It was a couponers paradise.

I think that we will be back up there soon and all of my coupons are going with me.
Yay for Idaho Falls!

Albetson's Matchups Week of 6/2

I completely spaced it and forgot to do matchups for the Albertson's ad that came out today.
So I would like to thank A Thrifty Mom for all these great ideas.
I feel silly because Albertson's is my all time favorite store to shop at.

To the best of my knowledge there are no Twice the Value coupons this week.
I think that we can expect them again around the 15th of the month.

Crazy Sleepy Albertson's Trip!

Although we just got back home last night, I still wanted to use up all the doublers that I got on Sunday, so I made an Albertson's run this morning.
I was thinking that I would have to get rain checks being that it is the last day of the sale, but they miraculously had everything that I wanted.
I have to thank the great cashiers at the Albertson's that I went to because I was so tired I am sure that they thought I was crazy.
It took me 8 transactions but I am pretty happy with the results.
(I am not going to post the coupons that I used since it is the last day of the sale and I don't have the energy.)

This is what I got:
14 Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ Sauce
14 Weber Grill Seasonings
2 Honeymaid Grahm Crackers
2 Hershey Chocolate Bar 6 packs
2 Kraft Marshmellows
1 Snyders Pretzals
4 Suave Deoderant
1 Smart Taste pasta
2 Crystal Light To Go Packs

I paid $8.54 for $58.54 worth of groceries.
Not bad considering how tired I have been today!

Cheap Turkey Bacon At Winco

Did you get the free Oscar Meyer Turkey Bacon coupon from Kraft First Taste awhile ago?
If you did then you also got a $1.50/1 coupon with it.
Well right now at Winco they have Oscar Meyer Turkey Bacon for only $1.78.
After using the $1.50/1 coupon you'll only pay $.28.
What a great price for bacon!

Free Taco Bell Refried Beans

There is a great new coupon from coupons.com for $1.00/2 Taco Bell Home Originals products.
This is a really high value coupon which should make for some cheap or free re-fried beans.

At Winco Taco Bell Re-fried beans are only $.48 so they will be free after the $1.00/2 coupon.

Home At Last

We are finally home from our weekend trip. It was fun but the drive felt so long. I have been so tired from traveling that I haven't even had a chance to post anything for today.
But now that I have had a little rest I will be back in full swing.

Tune in later for my great Albertson's trip.
It was a awesome.
