Eclipse Countdown: Todays the Day!

We have come to the end of our Eclipse countdown.
It is now 12:00 AM and there are hoards of fans lining theaters around the country to see the movie.
This is what it looked like when New Moon came out. I wonder what it will be like for Eclipse.



I however can't go today ( just too busy). :(
Honestly I also can't stand the lines and crowds. When I went to New Moon (several days after it opened) they had security at all the doors of the theater to control the crowd. It was totally crazy still. I think I might wait a little to see it.

I would love to hear if anyone went to the first showing and what the crowds looked like?


Also if you went did anyone dress up?
I always get a crack out of the silly things people do. Shortly after New Moon came out my husband and I went to the movies and there were several girls dressed in black capes with fangs. I could only guess what movie they were going to see.
I love Twilight but I just don't get it!
So funny to see though.

Eclipse Countdown: 1 Day Left

So are you one of those people who has never read the Twilight series of books but loves the movies?
Well here is a brief synopsis of the movie (courtesy of IMDB).

Bella Swan is reunited with the love of her life (and vampire), Edward Cullen. Her life is back to the way it was before the Cullens left, except for one major thing. Before Edward left, Bella had not considered Jacob Black (werewolf) her best friend, and she is in vain trying to make Edward and Jacob make peace and be friends. She is torn between the love she feels for Edward and the strong friendship between her and Jacob. Can she make them see reason, and can they be good to each other to keep from hurting Bella? IMDB stands for Internet Movie Database. It is one of the best websites to find out everything you ever wanted to know about movies. My husband and I always get into disagreements about actors or who was in what movie ect.... So we look it up on IMDB and problem solved.
I would suggest checking it out. It can be really entertaining.

Eclipse Countdown: 2 Days Left

With Eclipse being released in only a couple of days I decided to watch the first two movies over the weekend. Then today I saw that certain Fandago cinemas were showing double features of Twilight and New Moon. I was so disappointed, I could have watched both on the big screen again.
Oh well as my husband would say, this is why we got a big TV this year.

I think it would be fun to see all three in a row at the theater, but I am unsure if I can handle six hours at the movies at once. That seems like quit a challenge.
Is anyone thinking of doing this?


Side Note: When I was watching Twilight I noticed that in one of the scenes Stephanie Meyers was sitting in the little cafe where Bella and Charlie were eating. I thought it was funny that I picked up on it; I am officially a bigger dork than I even thought I was. If you plan on watching it soon, try and see if you can spot her.

With the Eclipse movie coming out did you ever wonder what some of the titles of the Twilight saga actually mean. Like what exactly is an eclipse and when is twilight?
Being the big dork that I am, I look up all the titles and found out the meaning of them on Wikipedia.

Eclipse Countdown: 5 Days Left

Access Hollywood’s Shaun Robinson interviewed Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner at the Twilight Saga Eclipse Premiere last night. (plus lots of other Eclipse cast members!)

I hope this gets you all excited to see the movie. Although I have a feeling that by the time the movie is out I might be sick of interviews with these guys.

Eclipse Countdown; 6 Days Left

Six more days until Eclipse (the movie) is released and I have been contemplating whether or not to read the book again. Well that problem was solved today because I can't seem to find my copy anywhere. And of course the library has a long wait for it. So I think that I will read the short story "The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner" instead. I honestly can't remember this character from the book Eclipse but it has been awhile since I read it.

You can read it until July 5 for free here. You can't download it or copy it but hey it's still free.

Elipse Countdown: 8 Days Left

Only 8 days til the movie is released and I just found out about this cool Eclipse event happening in selected cities. Saturday June 26 there will be viewings of New Moon (none in Idaho). Doors will open at 6pm and is a first come first serve basis. These events will include special activities and appearances from the cast. (I can hear the tweens screaming already).

Go here to find out what cities are included. I am unsure if they are charging and what that price might be so I would definately check with your local venue.


As I mentioned before team Jacob or team Edward?
For me it's team Jacob. Especially in the movies. I really don't like the acting of Robert Pattinson. He just seems to brood too much. I am still undecided with the books.

Eclipse Countdown: 9 Days Left

I have mentioned this before but I really love the Twilight books. So I have decided that in honor of the movie Eclipse being released on June 30, I will have daily posts about the movie.

Today I thought that I would start out with a trailer.

I think that this movie looks a bit darker than the other ones. We'll have to see.
The real question is however team Jacob or team Edward?
