Free Gas X at Rite Aid Next Week

Next week at Rite Aid you can score some free Gas X. (Might come in handy after eating all that holiday food!) I would print the coupon now as it will probably go fast when people start to catch on.

Here's the deal:

Buy 1 Gas X $4.99
use $4.00/1 coupon here
pay: $.99
Submit for $1.00 Single check rebate

final: $.01 moneymaker

This item also qualifies for the new Resolution Rewards ( spend $100.00 in participating items get $20.00 +up reward).

Cheap Gold N Soft Margarine at Walmart

While at Walmart this week I noticed that they had the small containers of Gold N Soft margarine for only $.98 each use the $1.50/2 any size tubs (not sure what insert but they expire on 3/3/11) and get them for only $.24 each! I am not sure if it is this price at all Walmarts but I was at the Overland store in Boise and they were this price.

Albertson's Doubler Rumor

There is a rumor floating around the internet that there will be three Albertson's Twice the Value coupons in Sunday's paper. Cross your fingers and hopefully they will actually come. I will post more as I know it.

Rite Aid Score This Week

Twenty Four Days of Christmas Crafts

So these are not really a craft and more a recipe but they are so delicious that I had to share. Everyone who loves chocolate and peanut butter will love these.

Ritz Peanut Butter Sandwich dipped in Chocolate

Ingredients:

Your favorite peanut butter (I used smooth peanut butter)
1 bag chocolate chips
1 tablespoon shortening
Ritz Crackers (we used the new Snowflake kind)

Spread peanut butter on one side of a Ritz cracker. Spread it kind of thick if you like peanut butter. Put another cracker on top of that to create a peanut butter Ritz sandwich. Prepare as many of these before you melt the chocolate.

Melt chocolate chips and shortening in double boiler or in a heat safe bowl placed over a pan with water in it . When melted place in a decent size bowl and drop the peanut butter Ritz sandwich inside. Turn it over so it is well coated and put it on wax paper lined cookie sheet or another container that will fit in your fridge. Place cookie sheet in fridge and allow crackers to harden at least 30 minutes.

Remove from fridge and place in airtight container. I like to keep mine in the fridge because our kitchen is so warm that they will melt. I would recommend making lots of these as they are likely not going to be around for very long.

Zaycon Foods Ground Beef Event

I got an email about this from my friend Jessica. I have never ordered from Zaycon but in October people where able to get chicken breasts for only $1.48 lb. I have heard tons of good things from people who have bought from them. I may have to try it this time.

We are planning a Ground Beef Savings Event in January and February.

Please take a moment to complete this survey so we will know which ground beef products are of most interest to you. Also, please forward this email to friends who may not have registered at www.zayconfoods.com. If you have already taken our survey through Facebook or through our website, Thank you!

Twenty Four Days of Christmas Crafts

I realized last night that my husband needs to get some gifts for his secretaries at work. They work so hard and do such a good job that they really deserve to be shown appreciation.
I can't decide what I am going to do yet for them but I did find this site with all kinds of great gifts in a jar. I never realized that there were so many things you could do. Go here to see them. Many would be perfect for a teachers gift. Which reminds me that I still have my son's teachers gift to put together. I guess I have a really busy day ahead of me.

Albertson's and Drug Store Deals This Week

I am so behind this week that I have had no time to blog at all. I feel like I am running this way and that constantly. I have a little bit of time this morning just to sit (thankgoodness) before the craziness begins again. Ah it tis the season right.

This weeks Albertson's matchups are here at A Thrifty Mom.

Rite Aid matchups are here at I Heart Rite Aid and Walgreens matchups are here at I Heart Wags.

Hopefully all of you will find some time to just sit today also!

Twenty Four Days of Christmas Crafts

I found this so cute Candy Cane Vase at All Free Crafts.com. I am excited to make one of these to use to hold the gifts I got for my son's teacher. It looks so easy to make too. Here's how to do it:

Items needed:

  • 30 to 40 candy canes
  • strong rubber band
  • clean tin can
  • evergreen trimmings - cedar, pine, spruce, juniper or holly
  • wire-edged ribbon

Instructions:

1. Place a strong rubber band around the tin can, approximately half way down from the top.

2. Begin inserting wrapped candy canes into the rubber band so the hooked part of the cane faces outward. As you proceed around the can, you might find that the candy canes tend to fall to one side. Just keep straightening them as you work - once the last candy cane is in place, you should find that the candy canes will stay upright on their own. If not, add another rubber band, fairly close to the first one, to keep everything in place.

3. Tie a wire-edged ribbon over the rubber band and make a nice bow. If you like, you can cut the ends of the ribbon on a slant, or in a vee shape, for a nice touch.

Add fresh evergreen, your favorite holiday flowers or anything that you want!

Drug Store 4 Day Sales

It seems like Rite Aid and Walgreens aregoing head to head this holiday season trying to compete for our business. Case in point they both are having four day sales which start tomorrow.

Go here to the Krazy Coupon Lady to see the Rite Aid 4 day sale matchups.

Go here to Hip 2 Save to see the Walgreens 4 day sale mathchups.

I am really liking this deal at Rite Aid:

Kastin’s Tin or Cella’s Cherries $1.88
Buy 1, Receive $1 +Up Reward
Pay $1.88, Receive $1 +Up Reward
Final Price: $0.88

I have gotten a box of chocolate covered cherries every year in my stocking that I can remember, so I will have to direct "Santa" over there to get me some.

Twenty Four Days of Christmas Crafts

I have been thinking for about a week that I need to decorate my house outside. Unfortunately it is cold and cold and I don't go well together. So when I saw this idea for an Ice Luminary from Live"n"Learn Farm I thought that it would be perfect for me. (especially since it is supposed to be getting colder and stormier soon). I can make it inside, stick it outside and then run fast so I am not in the cold for too long. Oh yea and they are darn pretty too!

Go here to get directions on how to make it.

Albertson's Preview 12/8

Pinching Your Pennies has the Albertson's ad preview up early this week. Go here to view it. Some of my favorites include:

3 lb. Farmstand Apples $1.99

Zoo Pals Plates $1.50
use $1.00/1 here
final: $.50

There is also a General Mills promo, a Spotlight Savings Promo (buy 10 items save $5.00) and a Pillsbury promo but I don't see anything that is a great stock up price unless we get doubles this weekend. I haven't heard if we are or not so lets cross our fingers that we do.

Twenty Four Days Of Christmas Crafts

(Love this picture if you look closely you'll see that this lady also made one for her dog.)

Recently my husband and I both acquired a Snuggie. (He got his from a thrift store and I got mine for free from a Rite Aid deal.) We had been joking about getting ones for awhile and my husband just loves his. I am still up in the air about whether or not I like mine. But when I saw this tutorial on how to make your own I thought that it would make an awesome Christmas gift for someone; perhaps with a movie and some popcorn.

Go here to About.com to see how to make your own.

Use this coupon to save some money if you plan on making one:

40% off any one regular priced item to Hobby Lobby coupon go here.

Bountiful Basket Sign Up Starts Today

I just wanted to remind everyone that you can now start ordering your Bountiful Basket. I already snagged mine but heard that last week they went really quickly. You have until Tuesday at 10 Pm. to get one unless they sell out of them. One lady said that when she went to order hers last Monday night they only had 3 left. So don't put off ordering yours or you might be to late. Go here to order.

Cheap Traval Hungry Hippos Game

At Walmart they have the Travel version of Hungry Hungry Hippos priced at just $5.24. Use this coupon for $5.00/1 (no size restrictions) and score it for only $.24. Target also has them priced at $4.99 (making it free with coupon) but I have never had luck getting any in the past at Target when they have had similar coupons.

I was at the Overland Walmart in Boise today (getting myself some medacine and a belt for my hubbie) and was able to pick up two for stocking stuffers. I was so excited to find some in stock. I could never get my hands on one last year when they had this coupon. As of this morning that store only had two of them left. No one could tell me if they had any more in the back or not but they were stocking games so hopefully they will have some to put out soon. This is always a really hot coupon and deal, so I would recommend printing it now and calling ahead before heading out to make a special trip for it.

Possibly 6 Free Nutcracker Snickers At Walgreens

This week at Walgreens they have Nutcracker Snickers on sale for 3/$1.00. In yesterday's Redplum they have coupons for $2.00/3 Mars products which specifically include these. So buy 6 use one of these coupons and get it for free. Some Walgreens may reduce the coupon down so that you can only get 3 for free but it is still a great deal. This is going to be a hot deal this week so I think that I am just going to price match it at Walmart. Hopefully you will be able to score some for free. I am in need of stocking stuffers and these would be perfect.

Update: I tried to get some at my local Walgreens with no luck. They actually have been sold out for two weeks and none of the stores will be getting in any more Christmas candy. I also tried calling several other Walgreens with no luck. I think that this is such a hot item you will be hard pressed to find any in the Treasure Valley. I would recommend calling ahead and not making a special trip for this one.

Sunday Coupon Preview 12/05

I am a bit late getting this up but in tomorrows paper you should find two coupon inserts one Smartsource and one Redplum. Go here to Sunday Coupon Preview to see what coupons might be in them!

Twenty Four Days of Christmas Crafts

A few weeks ago our church had a big craft project day called Super Saturday. We made all kinds of things. I only signed up to make one of these washer necklaces but they are so cute and easy that I wish I had made tons more. Go here You Really Made That to see how to make one for yourself.

I was at a wonderful craft bazzare today and a lady that I know was selling these for around $2.00 (which I think is an awesome price) and people were buying them up. It is the perfect use for small bits of scrapbook paper you may have laying around. Plus it would be a great gift for someone. Simply they are just awesome!

Hot New Kraft Coupons

There are a couple of hot new coupons from Kraft.

$1.00/1 Phillydelphia Cream Cheese

$1.00/1 Premium Crackers

The last time I was at Walmart cream cheese was only $1.16 so only $.16 after coupons and the crackers were only $1.98 so $.98 after coupons. Or if we see some doubles at Albertson's we may even be able to get them for free. I'll keep an eye out for any other good deals to use these coupons with.

Twenty Four Days of Christmas Crafts

Today's Christmas craft is one I am going to do the next time that it snows and I am bored. I made a bunch of these homemade Christmas bows a few years ago and they were a big hit. I used those scraps of gift wrap that never seem to be big enough for a present and the funnies from the newspaper. My son loved that he got one made out of Spiderman wrap. Go here to How About Orange to find out how (she made her's out of old magazines).

A Deal For Twilight Fans (Like Me)

I was so excited to see in my paper yesterday the ad from RC Willy. Saturday December 4th starting at 9 am. they are having a doorbuster on the movie Eclipse. It's only $9.00 for the DVD and $15.00 for the Blue Ray. This is the best price I have seen for these. The ad states that quantities are limited so I may just take my ad to Walmart and price match. The only problem I have is which to buy. We only have one blue ray player in our main room so I can only watch it on that TV if I buy the blue ray version. Oh the dilemma's this dorky mom faces!!!

New $5.00/$.5.00 Hallmark Coupon

There is a new $5.00/$5.00 purchase at Hallmark Gold Crown stores here. I was able to hit the back button and print it twice. I am using it on more cheap gift wrap. The coupon does state that one per person so I will be dragging my husband to the store with me so I can use both coupons. It is only valid until 12/05 so use it soon.

Twenty Four Days of Christmas Crafts

Today's Christmas craft comes straight from the thrift store.

When my husband and I were in collage we had very little money for Christmas let alone decorations, so I had be creative to come up with cheap things to decorate with. I found a bunch of clear glass ornaments at the local thrift store (I think that I paid less than $1.00 for about 24 of them). And I also found a half bag of that flaky fake snow stuff and some tinsel. (which I believe that I paid around $.40 for both at a different thrift store). You can also buy the items needed to make the ornaments at a regular store but I didn't have the money to do that. I then took off the top of the ornament off (you know the part that attaches to the Christmas tree) and filled some with the snow and some with the tinsel. Put the top back on the ornament and hang on the tree.

They turned out so pretty. I even gave some away as gifts. With just a few inexpensive thrift store items I was able to have pretty things on my tree for Christmas. I just love thrift stores. I don't think that my family would have made it through collage if it weren't for them.

Tip: When filling the ornaments with the snow make a funnel out of a scrap of paper. It makes the process so much easier. And when filling with tinsel use a pencil to push the tinsel into the ornament and to move it around so it looks nice.

If you are really creative you might also try filling the ornaments with glitter, string (see picture above) or even family photos. I think this year I am going to buy some and put our family's photo and our kids photos in to give to all the grandparents as presents.

Twenty Four Days of Christmas Crafts

I love this time of the year and when the holiday season rolls around I start to get the itch to make something crafty. So for the next 24 days I am going to post all of my favorite crafty things that I like to do for the holidays.

Applesauce Cinnamon Dough Ornaments

Ingredients needed:
  • 1/2 cup cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup applesauce
  • 1 plastic zip-loc bag
1. Pour cinnamon and applesauce into a zip-loc bag.

2. Seal the zip-loc bag and knead until the mixture turns to dough. If your dough is too dry, add a little more applesauce to it and knead again.

3. Remove mixture from the bag and form into a ball.

4. Roll out ball to about 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick. Use cookie cutters to create different shapes.

5. If you would like to hang the shapes, be sure and make a small hole toward the top of the cut-out before the dough dries so that you can put a string or ribbon through it.

6. You may create tree ornaments, gift package ties, and air fresheners with these after you allow them to air dry for 12 hours or until hard. No baking is necessary!

Albertson's Deals 11/28

No Albertson's post today from me. I got up early this morning and starting digging our car out of the piles of snow we got. My husband and I decided that it he would just go to this afternoon and work this morning from home. I however and totally exhausted from the 6 AM snow shoveling. Me thinks I need to start working out or maybe I am just getting old!

So I will direct you to A Thrifty Mom. She always has the best Albertson's coupon matchups.

I will say though that I am super excited about the $1.69 lb. boneless skinless chicken breast. We are down to our last package of it in the freezer this sale is perfect timing. I am going to be stocking up on this one.

SAY CHEESE!

On Coupons.com my favorite cheese coupon is back. Go here to print $1.00/2 lbs. of cheese (valid only in Idaho and Utah). This coupon will make for some cheap cheese. I would print it now as it is such an awesome coupon and may not be there for long.

Use it this week at Fred Meyer for some cheap cheese:

Bandon Medium Chedder Cheese 2lb brick $3.99 (limit 2)
Use $1.00/2lb here
final: $2.99 or only $1.50 per pound (stock up price)

I will post any other great cheese deals I come across to use this fantastic coupon. Also remember that if you do Swagbucks then if you print and redeem coupons from their site you will get 10 Swagbuck for each coupon. (it take 8-12 weeks to show up on your account).

Walgreens and Rite Aid 11/28

With all the crazy Black Friday shopping I have been doing I am not even going to attempt to come up with the deals for drug store sales which start on Sunday. I am about 90% done with Christmas shopping and about 100% tired of shopping in general. I think I may just take a break this next week and recoup.

With that said go here to I heart rite aid for a break down of the deals at Rite Aid and here to I heart wags for a breakdown of the Walgreens sale. There also will be a four day sale at Walgreens starting on December 1st here.

Other Mothers Freebie Friday!

My friend Collette sent me this email today:

Black Friday event at Other Mothers Boise

Friday, Nov. 26th from 10 am-3pm.

10422 Fairview Ave, Boise, 2 doors west of OMB

208-376-4855

We are giving away over a ton, that's 2,000 lbs of baby & kids clothing, shoes, toys, and FREE baby furniture!!!

Each family receives a large red bag. Whatever you can stuff in the bag is FREE. After that, everything is just 25 cents.

If you know someone who is truly in need, please get them to this event.

Why? This is a hard time of year for so many families. We hope our efforts are contagious and that others will also extend a helping hand to those in need. Let's join together and lift those up during this holiday season and through the coming year.

Mark your calendar for Black Friday, or as we call it at Other Mothers... "Freebie Friday".

I have to admit that I have never been to one of Other Mother's sales before. From what I have heard is that they can be pretty crazy and that you should arrive early for the best selection.

$10.00 In Free Stuff At Hallmark!!!

I went to Hallmark this morning and used this $10.00 off any $10.00 purchase coupon from here. You have to sign up but then it lets you print this very high value coupon. I was a little skeptical that it may be a bogus coupon but I was able to use it successfully at the Hallmark in the Nampa mall. The cashier said that it was totally legit.

I was able to snag a Barbie and the Rockers Hallmark Christmas ornament for less than five bucks. Talk a bought nostalgia from my childhood, they were my most favorite thing ever. I can't wait to put it on my tree!

I also used my $5.00 off of $5.00 purchase coupon that I got in the December issue of Women's Day magazine to score 2 rolls of christmas wrap for only $1.56 (includes tax). They have all $4.99 Christmas wrap on sale for buy one get one for $.99. What a fantastic deal!

Albertson's Double Ideas

This Sunday there were 3 Albertson's Twice the Value coupons in Sunday's paper. The exciting part is that they are valid til the 25th so lots of time to use them. I have had what I thought was the flu (it turned out to be a really bad migraine) this weekend so I have not had time to do any match-ups. With that said I will direct you over to A Thrifty Mom. She is an awesome Albertson's shopper and always has great match-ups.
I will say that my favorite double deal is one that continues from last week:

Ziploc Freezer Bags $2.00 (buy 2)
use $1.00/2 from 10/10 and 11/14 SS
pay: $2.00 out of pocket
Get a $1.25 catalina for every two you buy
final: $.75 for two boxes of Ziploc freezer bags

This is what I am going to try to stock up on today (I am feeling so much better). They will be great to have for all the holiday baking.

*Please note that the Freezer bags are the only one which will trigger the catalina!

Redeem Coupons For Swagbucks

We are all sick today and not able to do much but sit around. I have been playing on the internet and found this amazing thing. You can print coupons from the Swagbucks website (same as coupons.com) and for every one coupon that is redeemed you get 10 Swagbucks. How awesome is that. I can earn even more just by doing something I already do. It does take 8-12 weeks for the Swagbucks to appear on your account but that doesn't bother me. I am so excited about this find.

Just go here and make sure you are logged onto your account. Then look under Earn at the top and go to coupons. Print, use and get swagbucks. I figure that it will only take redeeming 45 coupons to earn enough Swagbucks to get a $5.00 Amazon gift card. And with the way that I use coupons those gift cards will totally add up. Yay!

New Bath and Body Works Coupon

One of my favorite coupons of all time from Bath and Body Works is back. Go here to print a coupon for free Signature Travel Size Item with any purchase (up to $5.00 value). I will normally buy a small hand sanitizer $1.00 or a sanitizer holder $.50 and then get the free item. Essentiallly buy something for the least out of pocket to get more bang for your buck. These are great for stocking stuffers.

New Pillsbury Flaky Cinnamon Rolls Coupon

Go here to get a this hot $.70/1 Pillsbury Flaky Cinnamon Rolls coupon. This week Pillsbury Cinnamon rolls are part of Albetson's Instant Spolight savings and if this variety is included they could make for some really cheap cinnamon rolls.

use $.70/1 here
use 1 doubler
final: $.59 or $.09 if you buy 10 other participating items

Depending on how many coupons you can print there is also a catalina to match with this deal:

New Ladies Froot of the Loom Coupon

All You has a new exclusive coupon for $1.00/1 off Ladies Fruit of the Loom Socks 6 pair pack here. This will be great with the Black Friday sale at Fred Meyer. Every year (for the last 9 that I have been doing it) they have had all their socks on sale for 50% off. We always go and stock up.

Since I am in serious need on new socks this coupon will be perfect! Yay! Now if there were just some coupons for the Gold Toe brand (which are ridiculously expensive). My husband is such a sock snob.

New Snack Picks Coupons

In my email today there were a couple new Snack Picks coupons that would go great with the movie theater ticket deal which runs through today at Albertson's.

$1.00/2 KeeblerClub crackers

$1.00/1 Nurti-Grain Super Fruit cereal bars

I am kind of sad that they didn't come out yesterday when I already bought some of the super fruit variety bars at Albertson's. Oh well you can't win them all.

Albertson's Preview 11/17-11/25

The Albertson's ad preview for this next week is up here at Pinching Your Pennies. The sale runs until the 25th this week. Hopefully we will see some doublers on Sunday to sweeten some of the deals. I have heard rumors of them all month, but we will just have to wait and see for sure.

Some of my favorites are:

Campbells Cream of Mushroom or Cream of Chicken Soup, 10.75 oz. $.79
use $1.50/3 from here
final: $.29

Campbells Gravy $.47
use Campbells Gravy, any .50/4 (1-31-11) SS-10/31
final: $.35 wyb 4

There are lots of things that would be great with doublers but not so great without. I will be waiting to shop there until after Sunday. I'm crossing my fingers that the rumors are true.

Cheer Rolling +Up Reward At Rite Aid!

This week at Rite Aid they have Cheer on sale for $4.99 with a $1.00 +up reward. Well I had a hunch that it would print multiple when I went yesterday. And you know it did. I also found out that this is a rolling reward so you can buy one and then use the reward on another and get another reward. Pair this deal with the $2.00/1 Cheer coupon from 10/10 PG and you got yourself the making of some cheap laundry soap.

Also don't forget that there is a new $5.00/$25.00 coupon on Redplum here to sweeten this!

Two Free Tacos Today After 2pm

Jack In The box is offering 2 free tacos to everyone after 2pm today. Now totally free is my way of doing things. My son's wrestling got changed to another night so me thinks that we will be having tacos for dinner.

A Couple Of Good Deals From the Grapevine!

I got an email from my friend Janeil about a the good deal on M&M's at Walgreens.

Buy 4 Holiday M&M's 4/$10.00 get $5.00 RR
use 2 - $1.00/2 from 11/14 RP
or use $1.00/1 pretzel variety coupon from here (can print 2 per computer)
final: as low as $1.00 for four after RR (if you can print 4 pretzel coupons)
if you only have the $1.00/2 then they are $.75 each after the RR

This is a stock up price for me! (My waistline may not like me after though)

She also mentioned that she found coupons for Stove Top Buy 4 get 5th free at Fred Meyer. I have also seen them at various Albertson's in the area also. Here is an awsome way to use this coupon at Target.

5- Stove top $.79 each
use 2-$1.00/2 stove top coupons from here
use 2- $.50/2 target coupons from their website
1- buy 4 get 1 free
final: $.16 for all 5

Thanks a bunch Janeil. I always appreciate your awesome tips!

Walmart Black Friday Ad Released

I was not expecting this so early but Walmart's Black Friday Ad has been released on Black Friday.net. There are some killer deals to be had. The time frame is between 5 am and 11 am. I am thinking that it seems shorter this year but maybe it's just me. Go here to check it out.

My First Bountiful Basket

I am so excited about my first Bountiful Basket that I got on Saturday. It was full of so many great things. (The picture is really bad because it was taken on a phone). This is what I got:

5 lb. Bag Potatoes
Bag full of Brussel Sprouts
7 bananas
7 medium size pears
7 Honey Crisp Apples
1 Head of Lettuce
1 Acorn Squash
1 large Stalk Celery
7 Corn on Cob
6 Persimmons
8 Tangerines
2-3 lbs. Grapes

For all of this it cost $16.50 ($15.00 for basket and $1.50 processing fee). Plus since it was my first time getting one, I had to pay a one time fee of $3.00. If I were to buy it at the regular store (even with sales) it would have cost me at least $30.00. So getting it for $19.50 is a sweet deal. Especially for fresh produce. Also most of it is stuff that we already eat; except the persimmons which we have already tried and love.(you eat them like an apple).

If you haven't tried them before Bountiful Baskets is a food co-op. It is normally half fruit and half vegetables. You do have to have a credit or debit card to get it and there is a specific time that you have to pick it up or it gets donated to the food bank. When picking it up you need to bring a container of some sort of your own to carry it home in. You can learn more about it on there website here.

Today at 12pm is when you can start ordering and Tuesday night is the deadline. If you do decide to buy one I would do it early as spots tend to fill up quickly. I can't wait until next week.

A Few Fred Meyer Deals

In this weeks Fred Meyer ad there are several really good deals. Here are my favorites:

Apples $.68 lb.

Milk $1.99

Fred Meyer Canned Broth or Vegetables 3/$1.00 with in ad coupon Limit 9 per transaction.
(I really like to buy the unusual vegetables with this like beets and canned potatoes when they have this coupon because it is hard to get them at this price anywhere else)

Stove Top $1.00
use $1.00/2 here or here
final: $.50

Have A Happy Sunday!

As I have said before I don't post anything on Sunday's. Instead I want to encourage everyone to spend lots of time with their families and to take a break from all the coupon deals today. So to put it simply get off the computer and go spend time with those you love!

Have a great Sunday!

New Rite Aid $5.00/$25.00 Coupon

On Redplum there is a new Rite Aid $5.00/$25.00 coupon. This should make for some really sweet deals. I wasn't going to Rite Aid this week but now I may have to rethink that.

Walgreens Printable Coupons

I was excited to see today that Walgreens is now offering printable coupons. Most are the same coupons as the Walgreens coupons booklet that is in stores (you know the ones by the registers) but there are a few other coupons also. Head over here to check it out and possibly print some. This is great because some times when a deal is hot they will run out of the Walgreens booklets in the stores; now there will be another place to get them.

Labels For Teachers: A Perfect Gift

What a great idea to make up these labels and give them the teacher's in your life for Christmas. You can get 140 labels shipped from Vista Print for a little over $3.00 (mine came to $3.14 for the slow shipping). I have seen this deal on many other websites and have always thought about doing it for my son's teacher. Well I must be in the mood to do deals this week because I ordered some this afternoon.

This is how you can get in on the deal:

Go here and click on labels on the left hand side

Click on Get Started

Look for the Industry drop down menu along the top bar

Click on Education and Child Care

Select the address label you like and design it

Hopefully it will arrive just in time to give it to his teacher!

Target Ad Sneak Peak

If like me you want to get a head start on next weeks coupon deals then head over here to Totally Target she has a sneak peak at the ad which starts on Sunday. I haven't been to Target in a while and this ad wasn't too exciting to me. I think I will save my energy for Albertson's.

The Black Friday Countdown!

Every year my family has a tradition of shopping the Black Friday sales. We all get together and normally the men folk watch the kids and we head to brave the craziness. Although it is really busy and I am not 100% sure it is always worth it, I just love to go. This year will be no different, except my husband really wants to go too.

I have been looking at some of the ads for Black Friday early at Blackfriday.net.
It seems like there are lots of places that I want to go but there is only one thing that I want to get at each store. This could be frustrating but I have a little secret on how I will be able to get in on most of the deals and have to only go to one store. My trick is to go to Walmart with my ads in hand an price match. It has to be for like items and within the timeframe of the sale (i.e. if the sale is only from 5am-1pm then you have to go then.) In the years past I have done this with tons of sucess. Especially if the item is not on sale at Walmart then I can go later in the day when the rush is over and get the item I want. Ironically what should be the craziest day at Walmart is normally the easiest for me. They will price match almost any ad so it should make for this Black Friday to be a little more stress free!

Toys R Us Hasbro Game Deal Gone

It has been confirmed that the Toys R Us Gift card deal I told you about here is now dead. The offer stated while supplies lasted so I guess they must have run out. There are still some great deals to be had but you will not get the gift card if you go. Just a heads up if you were going to try to get in on it.
